Gripping the soft leather wheel, complete control of the CX16 is firmly in the driver’s hands. Ground-breaking technology empowers but never overpowers the driving experience. A Virtual Instrument Panel replaces the conventional dashboard cluster with a crystal clear 12.3 inch TFT screen displaying a selection of gauges that appear as solid three dimensional instruments. With beautiful surrounds that change colour to reflect the driving mode, the screen will automatically vary the display to advise the driver of the most relevant information, whether it’s the vehicle’s proximity to motorway junctions or its current fuel range.

A single 8 inch Touch-screen in the centre console not only controls the physical cabin and displays navigation information but, through its innovative Dual View display, it can simultaneously present a video or music selection for the passenger. The system is designed to ideally complement Jaguar’s design philosophy simple and intuitive. Beyond the buttons and for a handsfree experience, the system also offers voice control of audio, navigation and even the Touch-screen.

To experience the rear seats of the 2012 Jaguar C-X16 is to enjoy unparalleled comfort and peace on the move. The Long Wheelbase version offers no less than a metre of legroom. Passengers can utilise business trays and reading lamps as well as privacy glass. With the Rear Seat Entertainment package, the rear cabin is also furnished with a multitude of infotainment options. A sleek Touch-screen, menu-driven, remote control, that stows neatly in the rear centre arm rest allows each passenger to individually select content. The 2012 C-X16 uses its own Hard Disk Drive system to store music and together with a DVD, optional TV and rear media interface, passengers can view a choice of media on rear screens for skip free playback whenever desired.
